Deep in the Daggershields lies Urgos Majestic, a mountain 12,000 feet high. There is a story about the mountain, a tale told by a half-dead man who climbed to the summit with his party and returned, broken and alone. He claims that within lie the caverns of Urgos’ak the Ice King, a mighty giant who rules a domain of white furred bugbears, yeti, snow wolves and ice drakes, and who rides Retraxos, his fearsome gem dragon, into battle.

The broken man says Urgos’ak has worked patiently, building his forces in secret so he can ravage the world below the mountain. The day is coming when he will surge forth from Urgos Majestic and lay waste to the towns and villages in the valleys below. 

Unless a band of plucky heroes can enter the mountain and defeat the Ice King…
