Her apple eyes look through me,
Auspicious in ambiguity.
To think, I thought she liked me.
Extra ego in perpetuity.

    1. Yeah, rhyme tends to go in and out of fashion, doesn’t it? I personally love it, but that comes from being a muso and writing songs for many, many years prior to writing poetry. I love non-rhyming poetry as well, though lol 🙂
