Scroll of Echoes

Wondrous Item (scroll), Rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

This scroll appears to be made from translucent vellum.

Once per long rest, when you cast a spell of 3rd level or lower using your own spell slots, you may activate the Scroll of Echoes as a REACTION. The scroll captures the spell’s essence and stores it for up to 1 hour. At any point within that hour, you can release the stored spell as if casting it again, without expending a spell slot or material components. The spell uses the same parameters as the original casting. The scroll can only store one spell at a time, and if it isn’t released within the hour, the stored spell dissipates harmlessly. The Scroll of Echoes can’t store concentration spells or spells with a casting time longer than 1 ACTION.
