Sword of Perplexing Solutions

Weapon (longsword), uncommon (requires attunement)

The Sword of Perplexing Solutions has a blade etched with stylized question marks that shift and change.

When using the sword, the attuned user gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. When they hit a creature with a natural 20 on the to hit roll, they can force the target to make a DC 15 Wisdom save. On a failed save, the target becomes confused (per the confusion spell) for 1 minute. The target can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. This ability can be used once per long rest.

Additionally, once per day the attuned user can use the Sword of Perplexing Solutions to cast the legend lore spell without material components or expending a spell slot. The sword must be held aloft, and the user must concentrate on a single question or problem they seek an answer to.
