A semi-regular column: new magic items! Let’s see how long I can sustain the enthusiasm for this lol!
Dagger of the Moon
Weapon (dagger), very rare (requires attunement)
This finely crafted silver dagger is etched with intricate runes and glows faintly under the moonlight. It gives a bonus of +2 to hit and causes 1d4 piercing damage + 1d4 radiant damage on a successful hit. When the attuned user hits a creature with the Dagger of the Moon under moonlight, the additional radiant damage increases to 2d4. This dagger counts as magical and silvered for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. An attuned user can expend their ACTION to cause the Dagger of the Moon to emit bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. The light can be extinguished as a BONUS action.
Once per long rest, the attuned user can call upon the power of the moon to cast the Moonbeam spell (save DC 15) without expending a spell slot. The spell lasts for 1 minute or until the user loses concentration (as if concentrating on a spell).
To attune, the user must spend a short rest meditating under the light of the moon while holding the dagger.
