Arcanum Spectacles

Wondrous item, Rare (requires attunement)

These elegant spectacles have delicate silver frames and lenses made of enchanted crystal. When worn, the attuned wearer gains enhanced perception and insight into the arcane, gaining advantage on all Arcana checks.

Additionally, they can cast both the identify and detect magic spells, each up to three times per day without expending spell slots.

Any time the spectacles’ abilities are used, there is a 1% chance a portal to a random plane (other than the one the user is on) will open and drag the user in. Bet they weren’t expecting that 😉
