Thanks, Harolene. If you’ve read much of my more depressing work you’ll know I have a lot of issues. I certainly have been a colossal f$&@up numerous times and have hurt other people in the process. I’m the sort of person who takes responsibility for my mistakes and that’s reflected in my life and my writing. I’m a better man now than I ever was, and I credit the support of those around me and my overwhelming love of God for getting me to this point in my life. God’s grace may forgive me, but doesn’t stop me from feeling forever guilty—I’ll carry that until the end of my days.

The Bible says that our sins are put behind, He forgives and forgets. For you to carry the guilt (and I have been guilty of that too) is to say that God’s saving grace wasn’t sufficient and neither of us would say that I’m pretty sure. I’ve read a lot of your darker stuff and knew that you were using that as a tool to work it out. I’m happy to know you 😇🙏🏼
