The promise of all
Of who, wherefore art thou
A macrocosm
Of possibility
A smile to turn
And shake foundations

With discord and deceit
Thrown away
As if the promise
Were nothing
But an empty box

How I do wish
For you to grace
My world again

A glittering thing
To envy and need
