Random Dream. A poem.

I dreamed
Of walking arm in arm
Down a busy street
The catchment
For conversation and courtesy
Conspicuously avoided in reality

Where admonition and excommunication
Were not memories
But impossibilities
Frayed threads torn away
To never see the light of day

And I was blessed
To see and feel
How it should be
If only for a moment
In a randomly remembered
Dream
