Time to
move
to the
beat
of a
new
rhythm,
oscillating
to the
pounding
of hearts
and minds,
lost in
thought
and
wandering
at the
significance
of it all.
This, the
new drum
of existence:
the tempo,
cadence,
meter;
the measure
of each
new
breath
and dance.
I write a lot of poetry, some of which doesn’t appear on this website. For more poems, check out The All or the Nothing, my first e-book of poetry, available at most online book sellers.

This is a poem with a. Lot of feeling better that sleeping in a closet open your mind to writing about things that bothers your life and times, political, Love, money or the lack of it, something different to anyone so that you can form a following of your own, M.L. Behan. Poet.

I’ve had a look at your poems. Those who write poetry know it is a wonderfully cathartic outlet, but in order to really say something you need to take it to the next level. I can only encourage and suggest you read poets like Robert Frost, T.S.Eliot, Emily Dickinson, Dylan Thomas, William Shakespeare, and learn from the masters. Good luck 🙂

Respect and many thanks, hope to do things that other only think about but don’t see. I’ve been a poet all of my life but didn’t no how to get it published until my brother showed me the way. I was word blin and dialectic until I was eighteen years old.
