Bladerunner Starter Set: Short Unboxing Video!

I love trying out new games (specifically TTRPGs, although I love board games, too). Here’s a short (sped up) unboxing video of the Blade Runner Starter Set from Free League games. It’s short because that’s the time limit for videos on TikTok (I cross post on TikTok and YouTube); there’s no commentary because I wanted to add the Blade Runner music as a soundtrack (and who wants to hear me yabber on, anyway lol).

The Starter Set’s rules are basically the same as the official core rulebook (without character creation, campaign setting and a few extras). The layouts are spacious, the writing noir-inspired and the books look amazing. Blade Runner uses a modified version of the Mutant Year Zero dice pool engine (which I really like) and captures the feel of the movies really well, including the opportunity to play into the existential angst about what makes a human (or replicant) human. The adventure and resources are slick and well produced, and ideal for a face-to-face game. Your players will geek out over the handouts!

Enjoy!

Steve 🙂
