Purge. A poem.

Purge yourself
Of every eloquent dream
And existential monument
To what was and could be

Purge yourself
So your bulimic brain
Can watch those thoughts
Cascade down the drain

Purge yourself
For all the bad and good
It will and won’t do for you
So you can stand renewed

Purge
