Untouchable

So close, one could touch
The dreams inside of being
Untouchable, here.

Apocalypse

So close, burning heart
The fires of hell ignited
Apocalypse, now.

Retreat

So close, far away
Now, the instant of regret
Retreating, broken.

The Japanese Haiku’s 5/7/5 syllable structure is a source of great enjoyment and wonder for me.

I don’t know why I write Haiku’s in groups of three. I just do.
